Frequently Asked Questions
Does it replace one by one?
No — every match is replaced in a single pass, and the live count shows how many that will be.
What do regular expressions enable?
Pattern search and capture groups: find (\d+) and replace with n$1 rewrites every number in one run.
Is searching case-sensitive?
By default it is not; switch on the case-sensitive option when capitalization matters.
